Australia and Egypt are the Civilizations that I’m going to be comparing and contrasting for this assignment. Without further ado, lets get into the Essay!
Australia was one of the farthest Islands from the middle east, where civilization originated, so I’m going to start with the fact that Australia had made much less progress in civilization than Egypt.
Egypt worshiped an extensive idol system, and believed that the head god had made the world and all the other gods. The native Australians, however, worshiped their ancestors, believing that they had created the world and that when they died their spirits watched over earth.
The Egyptians were mostly an agricultural society that grew crops in the Nile delta and they didn’t do as much hunting. The Australians used boomerangs and spears to hunt the kangaroos and ate the meat.
